.....Given the enormous appeal of the Ventures in the US, it's perhaps no surprise to find that Wilson Bros has managed to get the guitars into the hands of some big names...and to get photographic evidence for the brochure of course. Whether these gentlemen are official endorsees or not is a mute point, but having the likes of Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton from Aerosmith, Spencer Davis, Alabama's Jeff Cook and Billy Bob Thornton pictured with the guitars does them no harm at all. More likely to be more on board with the Ventures models is the all girl group The Venturettes - six babes' shown proudly strutting their surfy 60's stuff in the Wilson Bros marketing material. .....
